I teach biochem and try doing research on soil actinomycetes and bacilli in a remote corner of the third world. I often wonder can one be creative and original in the midst of so many odds. What exactly is creativity. Or as the zen budhists say: can ir happen! : "sitting quitely doing nothing the grass grows by itself!"

is creativity only for superbrains or geniuses. Can not ordinary mortals like us be creative? What is it and how to find this elusive thing!
