Is Sex Scandal the only way for glamourous woman to get into the limelight?
Published on August 16, 2004 By web_poet In Current Events
Faria Alam is a Bangladeshi now settled in UK. Her recent 'sexcapades' with FA coach and CEO created quite a few ripples in the UK media. And, man, she got much richer through her 'dare, bare, and share' games. While many girls ,maybe prettier than faria, are struggling to get 2 square(or even oval) means a day, fishing, working in fields and in sun, she gets it all, without and sweat, tears, and toil. Is the world fair? Or are sex scandals the easiest option for glamourous women to climb the social ladder? Strange thoughts I had this morning !

Great little blog article. But I don't blame Sven Goran Eriksson one bit. She is a sexy bit of work!

Means, had you been in his position, you would have done the same? Ok. But you haven't anwered my question if sex scandals are the only quickest route to fame and riches for women?

Easiest short term way of doing it if the woman doesn't mind being called a slut. AS for climbing the social ladder, I wouldn't say that is an effective way to do it. I don't believe a woman gets real respect for knowingly sleeping with someone famous and then crying that she's been used. Who would take her seriously?

In Faria's case, I don't understand why the media made such a big deal out of it. I've heard a bit here and there but I haven;t been following it.

But soon, some other scandle happens and everyone forgets about her and move on to someone else.

You are damn right, Ravenblack. But some women don't care a whit for morals or ethics, they just want a free ticket to limelight. Faria, Pamela Bordes , even Pamela Anderson or Britney Spears-all are looking for quick popularity, am i right?

I agree there.

I don't know about Pamela Anderson, but I sorta disagree that Britney took a quick route - she always had it, she just wanted more. Her performances just gets bolder each time.

I think it is we the people of the world who are responsible for all this. We are the ones who watch miss universe, miss world and make models rich and similarly if we buy tabloids and bare all books then we make glamorous women who indulge in sexcapades rich. If we show some restraint and spend our money purposefully then such things will definitely be discouraged. Then society will truly improve and maybe even hollywood actors will be paid probably in thousands per film rathen than in millions. Only then people who really deserve money will get money.
